As
a performance artist, Daryll knows only to well
that storytelling is a two way process, so he
makes sure his stories are carefully chosen and
performed in an appropriate way for each group.
Each session is unique as he responds to the energy
of the audience.
Daryll
likes to present a variety of stories and thinks
it's important for students to realise that stories
are celebrated around the world. That said, he
also enjoys presenting some of the local traditions
like the 'yarn' and the 'tall story' and telling
stories that explore and celebrate local Australian
settings and characters.
