Bronwyn
spent 18 years working at the Queensland Museum
designing displays and illustrating museum publications,
including the Sciencentre's picture book VELVET
THE FLYING GECKO. Bronwyn also illustrated
Patricia Kennedy's PRINCESS
LILA which was published by Greater Glider.

|
With
her writer husband Rick, Bronwyn has illustrated
2 children's picture books. Rick's story for SLAM
DUNK TIM is based on the difficulties that
their son had when he was only 7 years old by
meeting the challenge of the slam dunk. FOLLOW
ME was drawn from personal family experiences
after rescuing a baby fig tree from a brick wall.
It is a lovely narrative with an ending of great
hope. Both books were published by Random House
and Scholastic respectively.

Since
leaving the Museum in 2001, Bronwyn has been freelancing
as an illustrator, with regular commissions from
John Wiley Publishers, and focusing on her fine
art through oil painting. She says that listening
to classical and jazz music while she works completes
the whole creative process and enriches her painting
and drawings.
