Nicole has worked
in film, television and community theatre, performing and
running workshops for adolescents and children across Victoria.
After several years she returned to study completing her Doctorate
in Clinical Child, Adolescent and Family Psychology.
Nicole has extensive
clinical experience in child and adolescent mental health
promotion having worked at the Royal Children's Hospital and
Monash and Maroondah Hospitals. She combines playful, entertaining
and interactive approaches to a range of serious issues affecting
youth today including, depression, stress and anxiety, eating
difficulties, bullying, learning and behaviour difficulties,
aggression and anger management, self-esteem and personal
development, and social skill difficulties. She facilitates
professional development workshops and seminars for parents
and teachers empowering them to effectively promote the resilience
and positive mental health of children and adolescents.
Nicole currently
combines her private practice consulting with young people,
parents and teachers with her role as team leader of the adolescent
day program at the Albert Road Centre for Health. Nicole can
speak and run practical workshops for students, parents and
teachers and other organizations on a range of topics including:
