Since then Sean has written five more books, spent half a decade living in Amsterdam, written for several television comedy programs, tried to avoid working in advertising, worked extensively in advertising and watched a lot of TV. In November 2007 Foxtel commissioned him and a friend to write the pilot of a sitcom entitled ‘I Can’t Believe It’s Not Better’. |
Sean’s first book for young adults, MICHAEL SWEENEY'S METHOD, deals with issues of personal and cultural identity, racism, capital punishment and growing up with warmth and humour. The book is narrated by a boy in his final year of high school and much of the story takes place in a school setting, making it readily identifiable and engaging to readers fourteen and upwards. |

Sean has been a guest at numerous book festivals around the world and has done readings and appearances at book stores, schools and on the occasional Saturday morning cartoon show. He is a comfortable and relaxed speaker who delivers serious messages with confidence and humour.
